Lovely studio set just back from the beach in a quiet and beautiful area. It’s was so wonderful to be in such a quiet and serene location with the waves the only sound. Nish is a fantastic host and the food was both delicious and plentiful. He very kindly organised a Sri Lankan cookery class with him and his Mum, also got to eat it afterwards, yum. The beach is stunning and had a few plays in the waves although a little rough to swim. Also had a yoga class a few minutes away which was hard but felt great after.

If you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing vacation, Golden Beach Paradise in Tangalle is the perfect destination for you. My family and I recently stayed at this amazing resort and we were blown away by the incredible experience we had. The resort's location is situated right on the beachfront, offering breathtaking views of the Indian Ocean. We loved waking up to the sound of the waves crashing against the shore each morning, and spending our days lounging on the golden sand. Plastics brought by the waves during nighttime are unfortunately present on the shore but cleaned every mornings by the team, The resort's team is friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The food at Golden Beach Paradise is great- we were treated to a range of delicious dishes that showcased the best of local cuisine. The chef is making it excellent for all, at decent prices, Our room was comfortable and beautifully decorated, with all the amenities we needed to feel at ease. One of the highlights of our stay was renting a scooter to explore the local area. It was so much fun to zoom around the nearby towns and villages, taking in the sights and sounds of this beautiful part of Sri Lanka. Finally, we highly recommend taking a visit to the nearby mangroves - it is an absolute must-do. The mangroves are a natural wonder, and we were lucky enough to see a range of local wildlife during our visit. Overall, we cannot recommend Golden Beach Paradise highly enough - it truly is a paradise place. We give it a five-star rating without hesitation, and we cannot wait to return for another unforgettable vacation.

We stayed at the sunshine cafe for two nights and had a wonderful time - it ticks all the boxes! It’s in a great location and only a quick 2 minute walk to the most beautiful beach that is so lovely and quiet! The hosts are lovely and go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We ate breakfast, lunch & dinner here and it was all SO delicious. The food is so fresh and flavoursome(especially the seafood)as well as being great value. The room was lovely and big with an outdoor kitchen and private terrace area. It was lovely and peaceful and had everything we needed. We enjoyed sitting out on the terrace and enjoying the view of the beautiful garden. Give this place a go - you won’t regret it!
