It’s in a good location close to the town. The food was authentic and so tasty. Most importantly the host was so nice! He helped us choosing what to do, had endless options and even squeezed us in last minute for an extra night. He even dropped us to the station free of charge!

The guesthouse is very nice, quiet and in very nice setting (garden, in a residential and very quiet area of the town - a bit off the passing streets next to a grass playground with large trees). Nice and large rooms, very clean and well-equipped, with balcony or terrace on the garden side. Very friendly and helpful staff, family atmosphere - possibility to directly organise local tours ("Yellow tuktuk" with good driver/guide directly available from the guest-house). In two words: highly recommendable - Wish I could come again!

We were kindly welcomed by the hosts, who were always eager to make our stay as nice as possible. Although Nilu was away for the first two days he was always available over the phone and arranged a great, informative tour around the ancient city and temples of Anuradhapura for us, which we enjoyed thoroughly. We had breakfast and dinner at the homestay whenever possible, which was really really tasty and freshly prepared. We definetely recommend to stay here and were a little sad that we didnt have enough time for the cooking lesson.

A beautiful property with lovely apartments. The family took amazing care of us, the breakfasts were amazing. We met some nice travellers here as well who were travelling the same directions as us so we would meet them again. The tuktuk tour with Ratna was amazing. Maybe it's a tiny bit more expensive if you book via the homestay but I can really recommend it and we got heaps of food everyday from the family.
