Lovely place, exactly as described. The location on the map was accurate, making it easy to find. The room was simple and clean, with a comfy bed and hot water in the shower. My favorite part was the little balcony facing the green garden. While the location is a bit far from the city center, it’s very peaceful and quiet. There are stores, cafes, and a bakery nearby. If you want to go to the city center, you can take a bus (the stop is 15 minutes away) or a tuk-tuk. The family was incredibly caring and warm. They were very involved and made delicious breakfasts each morning. On the day of our departure, the host woke up at 5 AM to drive us to the railway station, which really moved us. The host also told us a lot about places to visit in Kandy and was very helpful overall. I would definitely recommend this place.
