We had such a pleasent stay at Vimanra!Spacious and clean family room. Nice pool in a lovely garden just below the cozy terrace. Extremely attentive and serviceminded owner; he fixed everything for us. Meals served at our convenience. We highly recommend the afternoon safari for jetlagging Europeans; we had a wonderful experience with lots of different animals.

We had an awesome stay at the Sandalwood cottage. The family is very friendly, warm and welcoming and the breakfast that was included in the price was great! Also, the dinner and lunch that we asked for additionally was very delicious. The room was very comfortable and it was great to just sit and relax in front of our cabin and see a lot of different plants and colourful birds. There are some insects in the cabin, but due to the mosquito net that fitted very well above our large bed, that did not bother us. We would definitely recommend staying at this beautiful place. The tree house is in the grounds of family home in a beautiful jungle setting. Delicious meal served by host in the garden diner was a very reasonable extra. Super helpful with excursions to see Elephant Transit Home as well as Udalawala Jeep Safari. The host's recommended jeep driver/guide was superb! We had a wonderful experience overall. Attractive, very nice accommodation. The river in front of the room is very beautiful. Hammocks, sun bed are excellent. The food was delicious and the host was very friendly.Helped us with everything.The safari trip was arranged by the hotel and many different animals were seen during the safari.I can recommend the accommodation to everyone who wants to do safari.
