We loved our stay at il Frangipane. The rooms are very comfortable and the pool was great. The breakfasts are tasty and the staff are very friendly and helpful, they arranged a safari for us at minneriya national park which was an absolute highlight of our trip to Sri Lanka. Our safari guide Thilina was unbeatable. I would highly recommend staying here!

The staff was amazing, very friendly and helpful! They organized a safari for us and always helped to get a Tuktuk of needed. The breakfast was great.
The rooms were clean and for the 3 nights we stayed we were also offered new towels inbetween. The room had AC and mosquito nets for both beds.

We stayed at Sithi’s place for two nights. He is truly an amazing host. Sithi helped us plan our days in Sigiriya, both in terms of activities and transport. He also arranged a pick up in Kandy and dropped us off at our next stay in Trincomalee. His wife Malsha made us delicious breakfasts, probably the best we had during our 3 week stay in Sri Lanka.
The room is very cozy and clean, and so was the bathroom. The room overlooks a small garden, where you can hear birds sing in the morning and spot an iguana walking past. The house is walking distance to the main road in Sigiriya where restaurants and bars are. Would highly recommend it!
