Rohana, the owner is a very dedicated and caring host who perfectly knows the area. We got all the recommendations where to go for hiking (e.g. several waterfalls, a natural pool, different routes around knuckles mountain range). Also we got to eat the best Sri Lankan Food on our trip so far, which we enjoyed on the rooftop terrace with the most amazing view over the mountains. This rooftop dinner itself is worth the visit.

A true local experience, not for everyone but if you are looking to find a place with no Tourist and experience local life this is great! The room is clean, very very simple, but it’s exactly how you see it in the photos! They explained to us the road to the water falls and in general our stay in Meemure was great! The location was excellent, beautiful waterfall and river, relaxation in the jungle was surreal, peaceful. The staff tried their best to provide for us but were not expecting us.

he place is absolutely delightful,in a nice location. The staff were not only helpful but exceptionally kind. The property is beautifully surrounded by lush trees and exotic fruit varieties. We enjoyed a comprehensive tour, a delicious traditional Sri Lankan dinner, and an engaging cooking class—each experience exceeded our expectations.
A special mention goes to Namal, a staff member who led us on the property tour. His extensive knowledge about the various herbs, spices, fruits, and vegetables was both enlightening and entertaining. He made the tour informative and enjoyable with his great sense of humor.
We also enjoyed daily Yoga sessions with Sampath, our lovely yoga teacher.
The bed was really comfortable, and the room had all what we needed. The food was great, particularly during the cooking class, which we highly recommend. Overall, our stay was wonderful, and we enthusiastically recommend this place to others.
