We stayed here on our way to Ella whilst on a cycle tour. We had an exceptionally warm welcome and were given a fabulous meal in the evening - the best food we’ve had in Sri Lanka (and there’s been plenty!).
It’s a lovely peaceful spot and there was plenty of wildlife to see from the terrace.
The Glenrock is located in Belihul Oya. The hotel has a natural pool in the river and guests can enjoy a meal at the on-site restaurant, Peella Side. Free private parking is available.

To feel at peace, calm and be one with nature - this is your place. Lovely modern, very comfortable accommodation & facilities. The location was stunningly beautiful surrounded by nature & centrally located for any activities, ie walk to the local village; not too far to drive to Waterfalls; we loved the morning Yoga; etc The staff incredibly knowledgeable; very friendly, kind, caring, accommodating, & professional. Loads of flexibility around dining, ie on the day of leaving we had to leave early for our train journey and we couldn’t do breakfast so the staff organised the most beautiful packed brunch for us to take with us for our train journey - we loved everything from the fresh sandwiches; gorgeous fruit and yummy pancakes. They were so incredibly kind and thoughtful and organised our transport to Haputale to ensure we got our train to Kandy. We will definitely 💯 be coming back as our stay was so comfortable and relaxing we didn’t want to leave. We cannot thank Asanka, Nilantha & Pradeep for making our stay so comfortable and enjoyable.

This is a beautiful place to stay, very peaceful in wonderful surroundings. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Supun the chef, produced beautiful food, with wonderful flavours and took pride in what he made for us. Prasanth's hosting and attention to us as guests was excellent. Location is excellent as its in the jungle area. Very easy place to go for a natural bathing stream. Also to see the Non Perial estate upper division (excellent views from top of hills).This was our second occasion here. Three days period we were in fresh mind due to the location of this place.
After giving dry rations to host we can prepare good foods for all meals. Its a very good thing .For that we have to pay an extra payment. We will come back.

My family and I had a truly happy and memorable time staying at Hill Safari. The cosy, lodge-style hotel enjoys a spectacular location, high up in green, lush mountains. Eomal and his team were incredibly helpful and kind, making us feel very welcome. We were treated to great breakfast and dinner - tasty, local food - and Eomal gave us lots of suggestions for walks in the area. He also kindly collected us from the station and drove us up to Horton Plains. There are comfortable places to sit out in the beautifully-tended garden, and we enjoyed the wonderful views, and being so close to nature. It was an unforgettable end to our month in Sri Lanka, and we were very sad to leave!
