The garden of the hotel is exceptional, there are so many beautiful flowers & you’ll see chipmunks and lots of beautiful birds around. The pool is just amazing and you can hang literally (!) between the palm trees. The dinner (curry) and breakfast are just exceptional. You won’t be hungry for a long time! We booked the Polonnaruwa tempel 4 hour tour with an English guide and tuktuk, which we can highly recommend. The manager and his family are all super friendly and helpful in case of questions for next steps of your travel

Location was great - the views from the front deck/jacuzzi were stunning looking over the lake. The hotel and the rooms were very pretty, and you felt like you were in the jungle (very peaceful and relaxing being in nature!) We also loved the outdoor rain shower and bath.

Located close to the ancient city of Polonnaruwa in a beautiful forest setting, the location couldn't be better for exploring the area's history and nature. The swimming pool was well maintained and offered a refreshing spot to relax. Room facilities met all my expectations, making for a comfortable and pleasant stay. Service was outstanding, with Mr. Kumara, the manager, going above and beyond to make my short visit memorable. Highly recommend for a serene and welcoming experience.

The staff are so welcoming and kind, they really want you to have a wonderful stay. The welcome drink was the best homemade lemonade we've ever tasted! The accommodation is clean and light, and the garden is full of nature. Close to the town and restaurants. We chose not to do the ancient ruins in the end due to the expense, but it was worth coming to Polonnaruwa just to meet these lovely people!

Wonderful place! The lady from the accomodation went above and beyond to ensure I had a good time, taking me to Polonnaruwa and to see the elephants The food she made was very tasty. She made sure I was safe at all times, dropping me at the bus to ensure I would not get lost when going to my next destination. Even sent me texts to ask whether I arrived safely. Such a wonderful place!! As a solo traveller, I very much liked it here
