Fantastic! We were a close family group of 7 persons in 3 rooms. You will not be disappointed. It is only 100 metres from NP entrance & lake edge. Magical entry is unique thru bush path that opens onto safari style forest huts in keeping with the secluded setting. The rooms were exceptionally clean, beds comfy with mosquito nets. Ensuite was spotless. The best part was our host Neehal! His limited English was more than made up for by his entusiasm & attention to detail. Were ate all meals on site and were exceptional provided by Sanjay.. Highly reccomended !!! Ask Neehal about our safari guide Bhashi from Visit Wilpattu - our no 1 experience in whole of Sri Lanka.

The location is perfect, at the gate of the nature reserve. It was lovely sitting outside, watching the peacocks and relaxing after a long drive and safari. The owner has a wonderful house keeper, Dilshan,who takes care of your needs, such as meals and cleaning, but he was also a wonderful safari guide/driver. The rate for our safari was great, we contacted the owner to arrange this. He has a great eye for spotting wildlife and put in maximum effort to spot the highlights of Wilpattu. We saw 4 leopards 3 up close, and 1 at a distance. Take bug spray, as the Wilpattu area has a lot of insect activity at night. Thanks again Dilshan , the safari was great.

Basically next door to the park entrance, incredibly delicious Sri Lankan home cooked dinner, good room and Susil went out of his way to contact a petrol station that charged me £100 on the way there, calling them and arranging for them to refund to his bank account and then giving me cash. Perfect place for a Safari. Highly recommend.

A fabulous location just outside Wilpattu National Park entrance gate. The staff were exceptionally friendly and courteous. We staying in a tree- house room and really enjoyed watching the birds and other wildlife from our balcony
