It's a nice place with friendly people. They do their best to give you a comfy and home feeling. I'm the second guest, so they are still in the try-out period. And they do it well! The owner brought me to a place for the breakfast and he brought me to the busstation. It's allowed to use the kitchen. Enough equipement. A good big bed. Everywhere it is super clean! The vieuw from the house is great, ocean vieuw. Its a short walk to 2 beaches, 1 even in a few minutes. Short walk to the lighthouse, to the harbor and just 1 kilometre to the center with a beautiful temple. The owner's friend (Priyankara) will assist you after booking immediately. Probably the most beautiful resort I’ve ever stayed at. A real piece of art handmade piece by piece with a tremendous taste by the owner. An oasis of tranquility, luxury, beauty, peace which we really needed as Sri Lankan traffic and wild nature can be overwhelming at times when you drive around by yourself.

The place is a small fishing village. The house is on the beach. Very kind father Sam and his dauther cooked fantastic breakfast and dinner. For us not traditional fish for breakfast. They where delish The sunset is beautiful. There is a lighthouse you can visit.

Beautiful location near the beach, awesome people, very good atmosphere. Too bad I couldn't stay longer. I will come back and stay one week next time. There's also this juice bar right next to the homestay. It's lovely! You cannot find a better place in the area.

The largest room with lots of natural light. Comfortable mattress and pillows, plus the first time in 4 weeks there has been a mattress protector! Super friendly host and his aunt makes the best food. Close to nearby cafe for cold drinks with a natural swimming spot.

It all depends on what you’re looking for, but I had a very nice stay here. The room was spacious and immaculately clean, as was the bathroom. The owner is one of the nicest people I've met; the beach isn't touristy and more of a fishing village area, but it's so authentic! The location is also excellent, with a 10-minute walk to the lighthouse and the city center or temple.
Talalla (Near Gandara East)

Had a great 2 night stay here. The property is very nice and only a 5 minute walk to the beach. The rooms are also comfortable, and meals are served in a nice little interior living space. It's all very cozy. The hosts are also kind & helpful, and they prepared some delicious meals for us. We would come back here if we ever return to peaceful little Talalla :)
