This place is such a gem! The view from the common area is breathtaking, and the peaceful sounds of nature are incredibly relaxing. The rooms are very clean and comfy. The family who runs it is warm, welcoming, and caring, making you feel like you're visiting your own family. Plus, they cook delicious home-cooked meals that add to the wonderful experience. This was my second time staying here, and it was just as wonderful as the first.

We had an exceptional stay at Villa Serenity overlooking Castleleigh Reservoir to coincide with our wedding anniversary. Anton and the team were incredibly friendly, attentive and a pleasure to be around. They made every aspect of our stay truly memorable. The food, menu and table service were excellent and we even had a cake for my wife’s birthday 🙌 Activity wise we enjoyed some time in a canoe on the Reservoir as well as a bike ride round the perimeter. Just wished we had stayed longer to sample Adam’s Peak! Villa Serenity’s amazing interior layout, decor and furniture is the epitome of high end luxury. Everything from the bedding to the artwork has been carefully curated to create an amazing ambience that exudes luxury.

Saman and his wife are the representatives of Sri Lankan hospitality and they will treat you as king and queen. He is the only apartment owner who came to the station and pick us up. The room is spacious with wonderful view to the mountains. Wake up earlier and catch the beautiful sunrise. The food is outstanding. Excellent and huge breakfast. His wife cook very, very good. The best food we ate was in their home. Please try rice and fish curry. Saman will arrange for you everything you need ( Adam's peak, tea factory, Aberdeen waterfall etc. ) Best homestay in Sri Lanka, don't miss it !!!

Excellent service and hosts. Tremendous value for money. Host looked into all matters of our comfort an even arranged transport for a site visit and saw to that he was there to see us off 6AM.

The pictures don’t do the surroundings justice. The house(s) has a ramshackle charm and the setting is top notch, especially for the price. I went swimming in the river my first day and laid out on the rocks. you can hear the waterfalls from your room while you sleep. Ravi is an honest and welcoming host who really makes you’re going to have a good stay. He also has top notch recommendations and thankfully convinced me to stay more than just one night as my only plan in hatton was to hike Adam’s peak. But the Gartmore waterfall and swimming there was a highlight of my trip.

Beautiful space and great location. Very clean. You also have a balcony and living room shared with the 2-3 other guest rooms. The family is extremely nice.
