We stayed with Meena Amma for three short days, and wished we had longer. Meena’s hospitality is note perfect, and her traditional Sri Lankan meals the best we have enjoyed in our time on the island. The setting of the two line rooms is stunning, from the beautiful sunrises to the peaceful evenings in the valley. What a thoughtfully, well planned and executed beautiful villa!

From the exceptionally clean room and premisses we felt comfortable and well looked after.
Appreciate the attention to details here making this villa a home. Not only is the villa itself a work of art, check out the interiors with the baby grand piano in the living room, everything has been merticulously thought of.
At 1900ft above sea level, it’s chilly yet the bed is toasty warm with the the electric bed warmer.
The owners whom manage remotely from Botswana, have certainly selected good caretakers for this property.
The staff were indeed attentive to detail and nothing was too much of a bother.
We were celebrating our grandson’s 6th birthday and he was pleasantly surprised with a complimentary cake and baloons!
Breakfast was a choice of either Sri Lankan or Western and it did not dissapoint. The portions were huge and food delicious.
Other meals can be ordered in if too tired to eat out.
Overall a very warm and welcoming memorable experience!

We stayed in Nuwara Eliya for a week, trying out different places, and J's Villa was the best for its price and super clean. The host was really nice and helped us a lot. We felt at home during our 2-night stay. The host even said they could cook for us if we brought groceries, but we didn't try it because we ate outside. The location is good, not too far from the city – about 15 minutes by car. Overall, it's a really good place to stay in Nuwara Eliya.
