Nearly not as bad as we were expecting. Located 10min walk to where the boat stops but a Tuktuk is here to pick us up as soon as we step foot in Pakbeng. They will also bring you to the pier the following morning. Shared room is cleaned and all the facilities are nicely kept. Fortunately, the people that stayed on the same night were respectful so we were able to sleep very well. The quality of the stay for the price we paid is unbeatable. The food they serve at their restaurant is also very reasonably priced and good! Would definitely recommend.
