Incredibly friendly and helpful staff and a wonderful peaceful location. It's a little bit out of the town itself but they run a shuttle in and out, and it's walkable if you don't mind a bit of legwork. Well worth the distance for the isolated riverside location, and it's away from the noise and bustle.

Great location overlooking the Mekong River and only a few minutes walk to the main street in Luang Prabang. We had a balcony room (Tamarind 1), it was so lovely to be able to sit and watch the street and river life action. Breakfast is at their restaurant which is directly over the road and right on the Mekong, great breakfast menu and the staff were always ready and waiting to take our order. Every day the glass water bottles that were supplied were refilled, cutting down on plastic bottles, such a great environmental initiative!
