The Magic Sponge is the best hotel name I've come across, and the accommodation did indeed remedy us.
Thank you to our kind and attentive host William. We were very happy with the quality of our room, including comfortable bed, hot shower (we had to wait a few minutes for the hot water), air-conditioning and high finish.
We also enjoyed the delicious food, generous portions, relaxing in the bar and watching classic movies.

Fantastic, friendly staff. Quiet yet close to town. Clean, modern building. Possibility of hiring either a scooter or bike directly from the hotel without paperwork. Was the first time I'd ever used a scooter and they were so kind and patient to let me ride it up and down the street before taking to the road!
