There is hot water, coffee, tea, and biscuity snacks available downstairs 24/7. There are just 2 rooms, both upstairs, in traditional Japanese style - tatami and futon. The hosts are both charming, and extremely helpful, picking up from the nearest station and helping me changing my train ticket. I will stay there again if I come back to Yoshino.

The feeling of staying in a old genuine Japanese house. They put a blanket on the table which reaches the floor, and there is a heater under the table. Great way to keep warm while sitting at the table. in the main house, the bedroom is on the first floor and the bathroom on the main floor, which means navigating steep stairs if you need to get up in the middle of the night.

The staff were so helpful and friendly, it was lovely to be welcomed with tea and sweets. The food/banquet was absolutely delicious, and the staff were helpful in guiding us through the various meals. I had asked for meals without meat and the chef was very accommodating which I really appreciated. It was lovely to come back from dinner to find our room prepared for sleeping. Felt very well looked after, thank you. And the view from our room was spectacular.
