I appreciated the staff offering me help. They kept my luggage before and after my time, so I could explore the town well. I arrived by bus + foot, and they gave me a ride to the bus station on my return. They dressed me in Yukata(summer kimono) and were ready to chauffeur me to an outdoor evening show, but I declined and enjoyed my bath in my backyard.
Whereas usual Ryokan serves food in your room, this place has two food serving areas, and they walked me to different rooms for dinner and breakfast. I liked the nice garden views from two different locations.

The most friendly host who told us all about the area and pointed out the nicest places (for example a really nice onsen nearby). The room was simple with nice and comfortable futons. If you want an authentic place to stay, go there! Oh and really nice Thai food next door cooked by his lovely wife
One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
Room is ciean and the half board meals are very nice. They allow us to check in by 730pm for meal which is very convenient for us, no need to rush to check in. Staff are very friendly and hotel is very near to Takachiho Gorge. Free parking at hotel too.

The staff is friendly and helpful. As we were there over a weekend, not many restaurants were opened. They tried to recommend and even helped to make reservations for us. Overall, a good choice.
The location was great, free parking and a very comfortable well appointed room. Staff were lovely and the room included all amenities. Free parking made me extremely happy!!
Rooms are very big and clean. We could use the common and the kitchen are downstairs for dinner and breakfast. There’s a free parking lot too but the road getting there is very narrow have to be careful.
