My partner and I have enjoyed many hotels throughout the world. T Hotel Ryuoo has, without doubt, the most welcoming and competent front desk staff we've ever experienced. From Kanekuni's calm, assured managerial style, Charlie's perfect English demeanor and 'nothing-is-a-problem' attitude, Sugawara's smiling, energetic help and assistance

The couple running the Ryokan is absolutely cute, forthcoming and accommodating, providing a shuttle to/from the station and to the monkey forest, and they tried their best at speaking english. The room was spacious, traditional with Yukatas and the Ryokan provided a female, male and private bath, as well as tea, coffee and a map to find around. The town Yudanaka is small and lovely with an amazing sunset. Overall loved the old, traditional vibe.

We had a large room with jug and basin. The seven eleven is next door. The property has two onsen the larger one is wooden and wonderful although smaller one is fine. Loved the cultural food experience , we had one breakfast and a dinner. Hostess is extremely kind and we were taken to station and monkey park by hosts van.
