We booked the quadruple room. It was stunningly beautiful in design, respecting the ancient fabric of the old building but somehow capturing a luxury experience with all the details to make our stay comfortable. Akiko san and the team were incredible, always there for us, and going out of their way to help however possible and cooking up amazing breakfasts each morning - the toast is divine. I just can't capture how amazing and unique this experience is - beautiful room, amazing food, amazing staff. Tamba sasayama itself felt like we had stepped back in time 200 years.. visiting the castle ruins made it all the more magical. Thank you, Oito !
