It was a perfect place to escape from the noisy city, get relaxed, just take a look around.
Greal location facing the lake, very quiet and comfortable. It was extremely clean even for Japan. The owners were very friendly and helpful. There are a lot of places of interest around and different hot springs.

Absolutely my standout stay in Japan, a place I have both lived and travelled to more than a dozen times.
Besho Onsen Midoriya is a beautiful modern Ryokan with private hot spring baths set in the most tranquil of settings. I particularly loved the Kaiseki set course dinner and of course the provided breakfasts.
