Can recommend it for couples and also for solo travelers. A one of a kind experience. I was the only western person, surrounded by Japanese people. It felt very authentic
1 day is perfect for it. I did 2 days, which was nice as I could go hiking next to the temple experience

There is a chinesse restaurant by the homestay. The food is very good. We had our dinner there every night.They have a shuttle bus which we can rent to pick up from train station and bring us where we want to go.
The owners are very kind and helpfull.
The location is very close to Taisekiji Temple about 10 minutes walk.
One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
The rooms are huge and with a wonderful garden view. The dinner was big, food was good, however pricy for what it is. Can book a timeslot to go to onsen privately and attend the morning prayers. Also a lot ot activities are available, but most of them besides kimono fitting, need to book in advance. A lot of parking space.
