Noboribetsu (Near Karurusu)
Located in Noboribetsu, 38 km from Lake Toya, Karurusu Onsen Yumoto Orofuresou provides accommodation with ski-to-door access, free private parking, an open-air bath and a garden. Among the facilities of this property are a restaurant, a lift and free shuttle service, along with free WiFi throughout the property. The ryokan features family rooms as well as facilities for disabled guests.
The rooms were spacious and clean, staff super helpful and the crab dinner meal was incredible with so much to choose from! Onsens were great and we loved the outdoor areas too - would definitely recommend anyone coming in Noboribetsu to stay here!

Located in the Karurusu hot-spring area, Sanseikan offers Japanese-style accommodations and indoor/outdoor public hot-spring baths. Guests can relax in Japanese Yukata robes and enjoy traditional multi-course meals. A free shuttle runs on a daily schedule and is available from JR Noboribetsu Train Station, which is a 30-minute drive away and must be reserved at time of booking.

The hotel is a 1-hour drive from New Chitose Airport and a 2-hour drive from the north exit of JR Sapporo Train Station. Two-way shuttles to both are provided (see Important Information), and on-site parking is free. Noboribetsu Bear Park is a 7-minute cable car ride away.
Breakfast is delicious, varied and artfully presented. The portions are just nice for me but big eaters may find it inadequate

The dinner was amazing!! Breakfast was just ok for me. The onsen was also a great place to relax and chill. Had 2 in total. 1 has a open air while the other doesn't. Located in 2 adjacent buildings. The staff will inform you of how to access both of them.

The atmosphere near the river, the onsen within the hotel, the friendly staff who were so welcoming and hospitable.

The service was spectacular. Every detail of the kaiseki dinner was special, it was in the private room and the access was easy and with privacy. We got a bedroom with a private onsen. The temperature of the water was perfect. You have to choose the hour of the dinner and breakfast, then I understood the reason, it was meticulously prepared for you.

There are 5 types of Onsens for you to enjoy!! Buffet Dinner is exceptionally good. The Room is spacious and comfortable.

Noboribetsu Jigokudani (Hell Valley) is just a 2-minute walk from the hotel while the popular Noboribetsu Bear Park is a 15-minute drive away. Guests can also make a 10-minute drive to the Date Jidaimura Village and enjoy a step back in time.
The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom however, was too small for our liking. The in-house onsen was great and we enjoyed using it. The hotel is just a few minutes away from restaurants and convenience stores and from the famous "hell valley". We also had access to the grand bath house from the neighbor hotel which was great.

The room is comfortable, onsen was really a great experience, Kaiseki dinner was delicious! Breakfast buffet was nice as well, plenty of options. The souvenir shop even have pet food
