The room is just nice for 3 of us. Basically all is ok for 2 nights. It would be good if the Hotel have 1-2 dishes difference each day as it would be boring eating the same food everyday.
Offering 7th-floor hot-spring baths with mountain views, a karaoke bar and a buffet restaurant, The spacious rooms have Western beds and a Japanese-style seating area.

This hostel is really excellent value considering it contains a good onsen, excellent kitchen, spacious dining / lounge area and very roomy dorms with comfortable beds. The location in Asahidake was much more beautiful than I had anticipated (especially as the snow was beginning to fall), and the staff were especially attentive and friendly. Don’t hesitate!
The Onsen was perfect at the end of a hike - with an indoor and outdoor bath and plenty of showering space. Re provisions - yes there is a little shop on site but it is limited to simple dried ingredients & instant food / ice cream etc. I would recommend bringing things from Asahikawa or elsewhere. Also there is an ok restaurant at the ropeway which closes at 3!

Spacious rooms and chilled environment. Tried the room with balcony and got to enjoy viewing shooting stars. One of the best reason for putting Asahidake Onsen as a Hokkaido pitstop despite the obscure location.

Outdoor Onsen was well designed. It also had low, medium, and hot temperature bath. The room we stayed was spacious and clean. Breakfast was excellent with so many options including vegan menu. The view was good from our room. A staff saved our parking space with a cone when we went out. We were stunned by the service. Thank you
Our room was lovely! Very spacious and clean, Japanese style, with a nice view and very comfy bed
Open air rooftop onsen was great
Free parking
Great base for the ropeway
Relaxing, beautiful town
Food was excellent: not every item was good, but there were plenty of delightful ones. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the baths were clean, including the small but enjoyable outdoor bath. The hotel lobby was very clean and modern, with a cosy wood fireplace to sit at. Staff were attentive and cheerfully helpful. Motorcycle parking was under shelter. There is a small coin laundry.
very friendly staff, great outdoor onsen, good location, free and easy parking, free water; great store buy anything one needs on the road. There was a sauna we did not use neither the 1st floor onset. Unfortunately we drove far away from the place and could not make it to their exceptional open kitchen dinner. There was a coffee free to use outside breakfast. It is partially renovated and seemed we stayed in the old part but it was very comfortable and nice apartment we were pleasantly surprised by.
Good location, good breakfast and dinner, good staff, easy to get to, Onsen was a plus! Easy check-in, Shuttle bus to the Ice festival. I requested a fan because it was very hot in the room, and I got it. There is a cute souvenir shop on the second floor & bingo! Great parking. Amazing front desk staff. Lots of elevators, so you never have to wait!
When we checked in it was raining and the staff were nice enough to hold the umbrella while we moved our luggage from the car park.
There were recommended breakfast and dinner times and was well organised with a great range of food for dinner and a smaller selection for breakfast.
We paid for the private onsen which was worth the cost and had a small relaxation room before the onsen with access to nicer skincare and haircare products than those available in the room.
Located on the edge of the Sounkyo area, though still walking distance to the visitor center and a very short drive to the Mt. Kurodake cable car. Plenty of free parking available. Dinner and breakfast buffets were good. Staff was friendly and helpful. A private onsen (huge wooden tub with ample room for two) is available to book for a fee.
The stay here was amazing! The beds were very big and even have some space for suitcases and jackets. The bathroom was clean. It is the perfect place for hiking, as there is much nature around! There is free parking space available. You can eat dinner and breakfast there. They have many maps and hiking ideas in the common room and the atmosphere is really nice! Would totally come here again!
Location in the Daisetsuzan National Park. The public onsen with hot spring water looking out on to the Ishikari river in the Sounkyo gorge. Plenty of free parking. 5 minute drive to the Mount Kurodake Cable Car.
