We are a family of four and there was more than enough space for us all. The kids swam in the sea and we really appreciated the beautiful Japanese garden and the cool interior with its mix of traditional and modern decor. Great projector!
The lovely young woman who owns the house kindly gave us a lift with our luggage to the ferry port so we could leave our bags and hire bikes - thankyou! She has done such a great job of updating her grandmothers house.
Sadly, we only stayed one night here, two would have been much much better.

We spent two nights at the Peak Cottage, so not in a hotel itself, but in a small cottage a bit up the hill. I would say the best was the view on the bay and the port and overall calmness not disturbed by other guests. Also the cuisine is just dreamy, I could eat there every day, even the same meals, and be happy for a long long time. Also staff was very kind and helpful, speaking English pretty well. And of course - cats, very open to spoiling ❤️

This was a lovely apartment with all the amenities and a strong life saving AC that helped us survive the Naoshima heat.
