Location is close to the station. They have their own parking under the building. Friendly staff, English ok. Close to good restaurants. Supermarket on the other side of the street.
It’s right next to Hikone station. They had limited, fixed-rate parking on site. The “rain shower” is awesome. The hotel actively discourages overuse of single-use products such as amenity items. You can also get room package deals that are cheaper by not having full cleaning every day. The breakfast salads were crunchy.
99% of the staff does not speak English but all are very friendly and try to help. The public bath was nice. Free breakfast was awesome. You can rent bikes to explore Hikone (there are only 2 though, and sometimes get used). Parking is free. The ramen restaurant near the hotel was excellent and there are 24 hour fast food options close by, and a 7/11. The room was pretty comfortable. Price was nice. They have a shuttle as well.
The room smelled fresh with no odor or stuffiness. There are plenty of power sockets for teleworking. The location is good. Off street parking is free. The breakfast was good for a variety of cultures. Overall, the sense of preparation to avoid any spread of Covid-19 was excellent.
