We tried to book the hotel at the last minute. this hotel was the only affordable option available for our travel dates in this location. We were not aware that this is a love hotel. Seeing the exterior of the hotel, we were a bit skeptical. But, after getting in, we felt perfect. The staff [ all women ] were friendly and gentle. The room and bathroom are spacious. I feel it is luxurious compared with other mainstream hotels in Japan. They had only four options for breakfast, and we had to inform them at what time we would like to have the breakfast, and they will bring it to the room. Breakfast was good. The transportation from this hotel location to the town is mainly by taxi. GO / Taxi app is very helpful to hire a taxi in this Location. The bus timings are not that convenient. The public transport options are sparse. Note: No kids are allowed to stay here.

There is a small onsen on the top floor. Convenient location next to the railway station and various shops and restaurants. Very nice breakfast buffet with lots of freshly prepared Japanese food. - Overall, this hotel has improved service after the society overcoming the restrictions during COVID pandemic. I have stayed here in May 2022 and I rated 6.0 as there were several unhappy experience then especially at public bath, but this time I was surprised that they have made improvement for those points. - Their service has become more aligned to various types of needs. I wanted to go to sauna before going out for run in 6:00 morning, it was possible. - Self-coffee service has become available now, it's great that the guest can get coffee anytime. - Check-out box in the elevator was very efficient, no necessity to drop by at Front desk. - Location is amazing, just within 2mins walk from the east gate (the which is open in the early morning and the late at night) of Asahikawa station, besides, no need to open an umbrella.

Great for a short overnight stay. Toilet and shower are separate which was useful for our party of 4. A convenience store very close by. Parking was first come first served and we got one. Very clean. Towels, toothbrushes and chopsticks provided. Not many cooking utensils which did not matter to us. Host communication was FANTASTIC!
