Everything was exceptional. The location was great, close to Bagnone. The host had provided more than expected for breakfast and for a very comfortable stay. We only had 2 nights but would have loved to stay longer. It was very quiet and the view was wonderful.

They are very nice and friendly, ready advise and share their tips what to see around. The house is full of history with amazing atmosphere. We really loved that place and we wish to come back one day. Please visit restaurant Da Beatrice which is located approximately 3 minutes by walk. The best Italian restaurant we have ever been. The location was a bit hard to find but that was mainly a fault on our side (I hadnt read the note that was sent to me and I didnt expect the entrance of the size of the castello to be just a common front door🙈). After we finally got in the place it was beyond expectations. The rooms were all filled with furniture from the past which at first gave the feeling we were entering a museum. When we were shown our room and bathroom we were suprised. The bathroom (which was in a tower from the 13th century) was renovated with absolutely beautiful plasterwork. The bed were of such comfort that we felt such relieve after the travel weve had over our past week. The next morming we had breakfast which was astonishing. I've never really been a breakfast person myself but all this breakfast was delicious. My partner hoped for boiled eggs and when we sat down the hostes askes if we wanted any without asking. After breakfast and right before we left we even got our private tour around the entire castello. The gate, the garden, the kitchen in the cellar. As a history geek it felt like sinking back the ages, everything was just perfect.

We stayed at the Agriturismo Il Poderetto for a week with our child and dog. The apartment was small and simple, but very clean and organized. It was great for our stay. The farm is an idyllic and lovely place, surrounded by grapevines nearby a river. Very peaceful and relaxing. The pool is absolutely amazing and new. We were even lucky to have it just for ourselves during our stay. It was great to enjoy it during the hot days. The hosts are a delight. The couple who manages the farm (Alessio and Sara), are super welcoming and were ready to help us when needed. Their small restaurant is a treat (open Saturday and Sunday at 8pm). The food prepared by Sara is delicious and their wine selection is composed by their own wine label (also really tasty). Highly recommend staying at Agriturismo Il Poderetto if you want to enjoy the “dolce far niente”.
