It was 2.5 km from the centre of Courmayeur, and so it was more rural and not crowded. Livinia was the perfect hostess, providing information about the Skyway Monte Bianco which is just a short walk away and making a dinner reservation for me at a wonderful local restaurant that I would not have found on my own. Breakfast before leaving was sumptuous. I recommend it high.y and will be back to stay again.

It has this special magic touch of a woman, who really cares and thinks of every details and how to make the best for the guests. We can't think of something we needed or missed - or even any suggestion to improve.

This is an exquisite beautifully family run hotel. Incredibly spoiling and luxurious , I highly recommend both new and old buildings. access to the slopes is handled brilliantly by a private shuttle bus, which by the time we rang from the top of the gondola was always waiting for us by the time we reached the bottom. fantastic value for money.

My friend and I stayed at Hotel Aiguille Noire while doing the Tour de Mont Blanc (TMB). We could not have chosen a better place to stay. This hotel has been in the same family for four generations, which results in a great deal of care and effort. Our check in was easy, our room was spacious and comfortable (and even had a balcony), and the front lawn was perfect for an afternoon drink after hiking all day. Every person we encountered was kind and generous with their time. One of the owners even called a refuge for my friend and I to ensure we had a place to stay the next night on our trek. We feel so lucky that we were able to spend some time at this hotel. It was absolutely wonderful!
