Great sized house, great area to all the places we wanted to visit.
I wish the weather was better so we could see the farm around!

Very clean hotel, friendly staff and a large spacious room. The location of the hotel was also perfect for us seeing the northern lights both nights of our stay.

During our 5 days stays in Iceland, this place was the only guest house that has a TV. The location was right beside the main road (Route 1), but we didn't have much problem with traffic noise. Also we were able to see the Northern Lights outside the guesthouse!
This guest house is 20 km from Vík and 1.5 km off the Route 1 Ring Road. Wi-Fi and parking are free. All rooms have a view of Pétursey Mountain and the Atlantic Ocean.
One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
The accommodations worked well for our family to stay together. The location was close to Vik and all the points of interest there. Kitchen was well equipped to prepare simple meals and hot drinks. Hot water was immediate and plentiful. Our host greeted us as soon as we pulled into the parking place (which we appreciated since we didn't have cell/text service unless on wifi) and checkout was simple.
Cozy house with 2 bedrooms, and a comfy bathroom, small kitchen with everything you need to cook a fast dinner and breakfast. I always stay here when I travel this area, the owners are very lovely always helpfull. The view is incredible, the house is lovated behing a small mountain, good protection from the wind. good wifi and plenty parking space. Huge terrace.
the location is excellent, near to a town (by car), but far enough to spot northern lights. the host is very kind and helpful in every way. small kitchen with the basic things you need to cook including coffee, salt, etc. Lots of privacy around, stunning views. very comfortable living room, and a huge private terrace from it. parking is few meters away. It is bigger than it looks in the photos.
