This cottage is extraordinarily cozy in all senses. The interior is super nice, everything fits to each other and there so many artistic details. you come in and do not want to leave. Perfectly equipped. we travel a lot but this is an outstanding cottage. The views are terrific. The hosts were very responsive. Due to extreme weather conditions there was a wide area power outage and we got instant response which eased our situation.

Gorgeous little hotel in a stunning location. The service, food and scenery was 10/10. Being able to walk out of our room and see the northern lights in the sky really was the icing on the cake during our stay. Would highly recommend.

Marbakki was a very beautiful, secluded property. My family and I loved the design of the house - it was very cozy and made us feel right at home. The villa had a lot of great touches including a well stocked kitchen (various spices, coffee pods, etc.) and yoga mats. The rooms were small, but the beds were very comfortable. Although there is only one bathroom, it was spacious and very clean. The outside deck overlooking the ocean and the hot tub were amazing. We enjoyed sitting and relaxing in the hot tub while taking in the ocean and mountain views. I highly recommend taking an evening or morning walk on the beach! Our family really enjoyed this villa and we will keep it on our list for future Iceland trips!
