Great location and great house. Everything we could possibly need was provided. It has a nice size kitchen so you can cook your own meals. It was great to have our own hot tub to relax in after a day out and about. Great value!

Booked the hotel almost by accident but it was a great experience. Good room, good menu, bar and all the staff were great. Don't be put off thinking it's only an equestrian hotel, it's top notch at everything but with the added bonus of a genuine Icelandic pony stable as well

Very convenient location for visiting golden circle or stopping before going south. We got two rooms looking to fields, so we got kinda lucky here as it was quiet and private. Facilities are clean and we loved how fridge was organised. Two bathrooms for whole 6 rooms house is okay-ish. Towels and sheets were provided. We haven't tried hot tubs, but it looked nice. Host was nice and chatty and up front send instructions how to arrive because of road work. Stayed here for second time (6 years apart). I believe we'll stay again when we back in Iceland :)

This place is perfect for explorations in the whole of Southern and South Western Iceland. The cottage has a lost of character, is very cosy and tastefully designed and decorated. You will experience a beautiful view with horses just grazing in front of the terrace and nearby mountains in sight. The hosts are immediately available and helpful whenever needed. I also recommend this accommodation for visitors who look for an opportunity to ride Icelandic horses, but not only. It is beautiful for anyone who loves nature and it is yet not remote.
