Nice and quiet, amazing views around the house, a lot of space, very nice place to spot northern lights! Not a very drive to Vik. We really enjoyed staying there and would always do it again!
Be aware that the hottub is amazing BUT needs a lot of effort - at least 3 (ours 5!) hours of constant firing (putting wood in constantly)

Loved the location. Saw northern lights twice. Would come again. Everything was simple and super easy.Beds were a bit small. Our son (average size) hung out the bottom a bit. But nevertheless. love it and would stay there again for sure. cabin had everything you could need including laundry facilities.

The Maddis units are exceptionally well designed and appointed with nearly everything you need for a night in after exploring Iceland. We loved the living room/kitchen space with its full sized windows, the black out curtains, overall Scandinavian design aesthetic, and the opportunity to see some stunning Northern Lights just steps out the door! The unit was very clean too which was appreciated.

It’s a brand new cottage with everything you need. Comfortable, well arranged.
One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
The place has individual rooms with plenty of parking right around. Common areas offer some snacks and coffee/tea. The common area is very nice old (likely original) building.
Beautiful location
Ample parking
Very nice staff- we got there quite late and they made some lentil soup for our little one at no cost- very grateful
Dinner was a little pricey but good quality food and nice to meet other guests
Room is very nice
Modern apartment (number 9) w/ outdoor parking included. Fully equipped kitchen (microwave, oven, dish washer,...), very useful since there are no restaurants or supermarkets nearby. Easy to find despite long dirt road to arrive. Very good indications by the owner. Overall excellent!
Friendly staff, good breakfast with salmon and home made food, social dinner, they turned off lights so we would have better view while watching Northern lights. Staff advised us about our next journey (what to see and weather alert). Free parking in front of the apartment.
The room was simply beautiful and very comfortable: view on the glacier on the one side and on the countryside on the other. The dinner was delicious and allowed us to meet other guests. Breakfast equally super good! I would just suggest parking the cars not in front of the rooms if possible.
