YOU CAN WALK EASILY TO THE GLACIER SO DON'T GET CONNED BY HORSE GUIDES. TAXIS ARE AN ISSUE, THEY OVERCHARGE. A VISIT TO DRASS, KARGIL WAR MEMORIAL IS A MUST. TREK TO THE LOVELY LAKES. LOCATION IS WELL AWAY FROM THE MARKET AND MAIN ROAD, A SLIGHTLY LONG WALK IF YOU NEED TO GET TO THE TAXI STAND OR MARKET. THOUGH, GENERALLY THER ARE SOME TAXIS OR HORSES AROUND IF YOU GET LAZY.

The view from the Balcony was mind-boggling. Could see Switzerland right in Indian at 1/3 of the cost. Very courteous people. Made us even more comfortable by providing a room-heater, without our asking.

The room was very comfortable and cozy. We enjoyed our stay at RAH villa. The staff was also very cooperative & friendly.Breakfast was also provided and it was excellent. The icing on the cake was the snowfall in Sonmarg, we used the terrace to view the snowfall in the late evening.
