The motel was well located in a quiet area but still within walking distance to the central area of town. Our room was clean and comfortable and any items not in the room were quickly provided. The breakfast provided, while simple, was delicious and the breakfast manager was wonderful. He even had our dosa's sliced to avoid us mangling them. He was also extremely helpful in organising tours for us as he spoke beautiful english. Peppers restaurant upstairs had a wide range of dishes all well cooked and served. A lovely touch was the warm water finger bowls provided at the end of the meal. Although there were some language difficulties everything was overcome and always with a huge smile. Special mention to our wonderful smiling doorman.

They stay was good, the hotel was well maintained and the staff was helpful, we had lunch and the food was good. The hotel is located bit away from the city center but was peaceful. Was having good enough space for parking.
One of the rooms smelt of cigarettes and the staff gave us a different room on request.
Breakfast buffet options were a great selection of different cuisines. The restaurant manager provided good coffee to us on request which was good service.
The staff gave us a complimentary food parcel at check out when we mentioned one of the rooms was not cleaned properly.
Car parking was provided and accommodation for the driver was also comfortable.
During our Karnatak trip we had booked 3 rooms to stay on 31st Oct 2022 at Royal Orchid central, Shimoga. It was a really great experience with this hotel since from reporting till check out. Hotel offered 5 star facilities in just ₹2200/only. Has enough car parking. Offerd nice complementary buffet breakfast. Everything was clean. Excellent stay as compared to other hotels we enjoyed it during our 10 days visit to Karnataka.
