Throughout our stay, we were exceptionally well taken care of by Mr. Subhash and his wife, whose hospitality truly made our experience unforgettable. Their attentiveness and kindness ensured that every aspect of our visit was comfortable and enjoyable. One highlight of our time at Vretreat was the breakfast, which was not only delicious but also the best we had during our entire trip.

Kanan Beach Resort was a great surprise. We discovered a very beautiful and quiet paradise. The place was very well thought. The beach in Nileshwar is incredibly beautiful. The team of Kanan Beach was very professional. We were welcomed by the French owners of the hotel who were very friendly. The restaurant is also excellent. Maybe my favorite hotel in India so far.

This homestay is a hidden gem, it is surrounded by water with an estuary on one side, a small lake in the grounds then the most amazing, deserted beach on the far side.
The best part about this homestay is the family who live there, they are so accommodating welcoming you into their home for the most delicious meals. The mango coconut milk kingfish was one of the tastiest meals we had during our India trip. Shenmugen is the loveliest man, he took us on his canoe to the fish market and all along the backwaters, he was so helpful and attentive helping us book taxis and arrange excursions.
The room was perfect, we were right on the lakeside with a hammock overlooking the water. The bed was comfy and the room felt like a cute log cabin, we loved being surrounded by nature.
