We stayed in the tree house at Kalidasa for 3 nights, what a truly magical experience we had! The accommodation in the treehouse is basic, clean and comfortable, but the setting and the hospitality of Sudheesh and his family are exceptional. Their recommended driver, Namshi, organised all our transport and arranged safaris for us. Sudheesh’s wife and mother produced delicious home cooked meals and Sudheesh was very happy to share his extensive knowledge of the area. They made our stay, in what is already a really beautiful place, as good as it could be. If you get chance to have a massage whilst you’re there, do, it’s another great experience! For a genuine local and back to nature experience, we highly recommend this place.

The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The owner is a very helpful nice man .He took us for a lovely walk and evening drive to see the amazing elephants. The property is well maintained. The rooms have a lovely safari feel. The furniture is lovely. The mattresses are very clean and nice also the bedding crisp white .very comfortable. The food is very nice home cooked and they farm at the property. The area around the property is nice to stroll around .also has a look out post. The pool area is nice and tranquil.
