Fabienne and Roland were very helpful with our enforced late arrival time, leaving the accommodation open pending our arrival (01.00!). The instructions for gaining entry were clear, and our breakfast items were waiting for us. We found the beds were very comfortable, and water was always hot for showering and dishwashing. For those who are looking for a place in the country, this may be your bag; nevertheless, it is a conveniently short run to the main road (N71). Overall we feel that the price we paid was reasonable, particularly as we had the benefit of two separate rooms, but it has to be said that the property is in need of a re-furb, particularly as regards the shower arrangement. It pains us to be critical, with such pleasant hosts as Fabienne and Roland, but future guests need to be aware of the shortcomings as outlined below.

Good welcome, was able to store my bicycle safely overnight. Room had very comfortable bed and a useful table in the corner. Shower worked well. Breakfast was well cooked and there was ample tea and toast.

Beautiful home with a stunning garden. Carol is a wonderful host and facilities were outstanding, spacious bedroom with en-suite. Very high standard accommodation. Breakfast was superb. Good parking.

The size of the room was amazing with excellent views. En-suite was very clean & large with an excellent shower. Parking was easy with plenty of available space. The hosts were very welcoming. Breakfast was cooked fresh to order & the table laid with fresh linen & little lidded pots of jam & marmalade - little touches.

We had a wonderful stay near the little Harbour of Union Hall in this beautiful family run Bed & Breakfast. The breakfast in the morning was good and locally sourced. The building itself is beautiful and so was the room and garden surrounding the property. We enjoyed our stay very much. Parking is in front of the building, google maps found the property well. Room Fantastic. Bed was super comfy. Location lovely serene and peaceful. Shower superb. Host lovely. Plentiful safe parking. Breakfast room was quaint and tasteful and range of food options was to suit all tastes . And UnionHall is a great little spot to visit.

We stayed at Lis-Ardagh Lodge overnight on a motorcycle trip around Southern Ireland. It is an exceptional place to stay, immaculately clean and standards consistent with a top class hotel. The hosts Carol & Jim were very welcoming and clearly take great pride in their guesthouse. Lovely breakfast & plenty of secure parking. Would definitely stay again if re-visiting Ireland.
Julie ,the host is exceptionally pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was outstanding. All the public rooms and the outside were lovely and the parking was good.. Our room was very good and had a lovely view ,just a small thing was the size of the en suite bathroom.
