This gorgeously situated hotel has a very special country charm, the likes of which I am rarely so lucky to encounter. Very friendly welcome and excellent breakfast. The popular pub next-door serves food, and was lively and very cozy with the wood-burning stove. The hotel is lovingly appointed with a vast collection of antiques and a sumptuous carpet throughout. Absolutely quiet all night, awakened to soft birdsong. Free parking was another bonus. I very warmly recommend this lovely and utterly charming country hotel.
