Staff at the bar Sunday evening were very friendly and professional.
But credit must go to Josh at reception who checked me in Sunday . (I hope I've name right) he not only gave me a nice welcome he also remembered my name when I came down for dinner. Always impressive when somebody takes the time to greet you by your name. Hotel spotless as always. Ideal for short trip for studies in Portlaoise. Pool area was grand. Pool tiles floor is slightly slippy in the water of the pool not the deck, so non swimmers like me need to be a bit more careful. But staff and facilities down there were perfect.

The hotel is in a central location in a lovely area. There is adequate free parking. The staff are lovely. The public areas of the hotel are very smart.
