This was a great stopover on our way from Dublin to Galway! It was our first night in Ireland and due to a delayed flight we arrived a bit after check-in time, but we had great communication with the host and it was no problem at all! We were kindly welcomed and our host even served us some homemade carrot cake and lovely tea in a comfy living room with a real fireplace. Our room was very spacious and we felt like in a castle. High ceilings and a huge bed. There also was a free standing bath tub in the bathroom which was lovely. There was no noise at night and they have blackout curtains in the room so we slept very well. In the morning we were served a real Irish breakfast in the beautiful dining room, completed with fresh orange juice. The bacon is from their own farm, as well as two types of homemade bread. All in all a lovely stay and we were glad to be hosted here for our first night in the country. We will absolutely visit again when back in Ireland!
