Offering a restaurant, Riverbank, Country Pub and Guesthouse is located in the countryside 10 minutes’ drive from Carrickmacross. This charming property opens onto grounds with views of a 12th-century Norman motte fort.

I arrived late in the evening and the hosts were exceptionally accommodating. I had dinner at the pub and the staff arranged for my taxi the following morning. The food at the bar is also very good. I very much enjoyed my stay here, would definitely visit again for longer.

Beautiful property, quiet and clean. It had everything we needed for more than our 1 night stay. (Would want to stay longer next time) It is centrally located to many outdoor attractions (Forest Parks, Adventure trails) The facilities were clean & maintained, comfortable and good internet connection too. It was a good “home base” to access many natural attractions. Hosts helpful in finding local Take Aways or markets to procure necessities.
