They are fantastic hosts who thought of everything. The place was clean and organized. The neighborhood is located within a short walk of a pub, a park by the lake, a ruined castle, and a ruined church. Jeremy (who had called me back to answer my phone queries from abroad) helped us find the location despite our late arrival, and took care we had enough tea, coffee, OJ and home-made soda bread. We had an iron and ironing board on the landing to look after the shirt creases, and a thousand little antiques and objects all over that make the house truly unique. A very pleasant stay.

The property and its owners are outstanding. During a five night stay as a family group we couldn't have been in a better location or received better hospitality. From Helen meeting us on arrival, giving us "the tour" and the welcome pack till we waved goodbye on Sunday morning she was an absolute delight. Located on a hillside overlooking Dromineer, Lough Dergh each evening was spent on the full-width veranda watching the bats flying about as the sun set over the lake and the hills beyond - we even saw some shooting stars! Although in a very quiet location there's a local shop and pubs less than a mile away and everyone was really friendly. The accommodation itself easily coped with seven adults and a baby. There is an en-suite double bedroom on the ground floor which would be useful for anyone with mobility issues. There is always a shady spot to be found in the garden throughout the day.
