The whole house was very clean. Good facilities including a dishwasher, washing machine and comfy bed and couches. They left lovely gifts left for us (homemade scones, butter and fresh fruit). Lots of space in the house and to park outside. Kilrush is a nice town

I highly recommend staying at Colman House! Patty and John are exceptional hosts - really friendly, sociable and accommodating and had lots of local tips. The room was large, very quiet, warm, extremely clean and comfortable and the shower pressure was fantastic! The house is also COVID compliant so I felt very safe staying here. The breakfasts also exceeded expectations - you have an option to get the full Irish breakfast, which was delicious, and Patty can also prepare lighter breakfasts which are equally good, complete with freshly brewed coffee. I am already missing the homemade scones and muffins! The location of the house is also central to major activities/areas of interest in Clare, including a variety of cliff and beach walks, the Cliffs of Moher, the Burren, Loop Head, Ennis, etc. I would love to stay here again. If you’re thinking about booking here, just do it!
