Beautiful location in central Donegal. Large, 3-br, 3-bath cottage with beautiful view over valley. Perfect location for scenic touring of northern Donegal. Host Seamus gave us lots of touring and dining tips. Lovely fireplace with a pile of peat! This might have been the best place we stayed in our 3-weeks in Ireland.

Exceptional views from the left side of the house, windows overlooking the lough in almost every room - bringing outdoors inside, feeling as one with the surrounding environment. So very peaceful! We absolutely loved Fairway Haven. The house itself has everything a family would need! Plenty of space & ensuite bathrooms in two rooms with two additional bathrooms( one upstairs & one downstairs) , lots of spare towels/ toiletries provided even though we did bring our own......lovely sunroom which was perfect for drying clothes overnight. Living area was so well equipped with a smart TV, games, books ,Nintendo game systems, even colouring books & markers! Kitchen was well laid out again with great facilities, we got a food shop on the way to the house & we could cook as / when we wanted..suited us with four boy's. Great heating system that was easy to use once I figured it out, loved the fact you could have constant hot water 😬Washing machine was so easy to use & great for keeping on top of the washing. Jack had the heating on for our arrival which was a lovely touch. He was an excellent host & got straight back to me anytime I needed to ask something, I did annoy him a few too many times I'm sure! Not that he complained. We would love to make a return visit , boy's are already talking about it. It's situated in such a scenic area, lots to do..some of which we enjoyed was Ard's Forest Park, Marble Hill beach & we even ventured future afield to Wild Ireland & Tropical World at Alcorn..The village was close by to the house with lovely cafes, shops & takeaways. I don't think we've ever been anywhere quite as beautiful, scenery was just out of this would in Ard's Forest Park, it has the most beautiful trails , beach & play area. Even a coffee shop situated beside the carpark. I've highly recommended this house to my family & friend's already. Coco the dog next door was a big hit with the boy's too 🙂
