Lovely cottage, everything one needs. Recently renovated.
We unfortunately made the mistake of going into the smaller cabin. As we arrived at night, though quite well lighted as you walk into main gate. Large cottage is behind a wooded fence unlike the first 3 cabins, and it says staff only at the number 4, it was confusing. But fortunately is was enough space for four of us, too.

The Townhouse appears to have renovations underway but it was perfectly clean and tidy. Although breakfast is not available there are a number of good cafés within walking distance. The young lady who walked us from the bar where we checked in to the room was very friendly.
The Clanard Court Hotel is situated in Athy, Kildare, just a 10-minute walk from Athy Train Station. It offers spacious rooms with free internet access, a brasserie and free parking.

We liked everything. Brendan the host was a gentleman from start to finish nothing was an issue. The house is spacious, clean, everything works, location is perfect, nice and quite area, the garden is lovely and big, the kids loved the hammock. If we need accommodation in Carlow again we will be doing our best to get this house again.

The whole experience was excellent, nice quiet village, not to far from your main towns.
Facilities were very clean and bed was super comfortable, everything you might expect and need. And lets not forget 'scooper' the dog, very friendly and always excited to see you. And as of the owners, very polite and helpful, couldnt ask for anything more.
