The room was really well designed and cozy. The bed was very comfortable. It was great to be self sufficient, Siobhan was very helpful and even accommodated our coffee snobbery by providing a cafetière when asked.

The hosts were so friendly and welcoming and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The accommodated us on our early start the next morning and this was hugely appreciated. The breakfast was so tasty and the fresh homemade bread and fruit compote was delicious. The bedroom was very spacious and comfortable.

You need to meet the host to get in so therefore you need to know your arrival time. We had to change our time but the host was happy to facilitate that. The host made communication easy. There is NO key box and there are a flight of steps to the property that we were not aware of but it made no difference to our stay..
The host left a great selections of food in the house which we totally enjoyed. The beds and pillows (especially) were super. Good quality items in the house.

We have spent a week travelling around west cork, staying in various places. This place was by far the most enjoyable. The lodge was very spacious and comfortable, it was well kitted (from dishwasher tablets to washing machine powder; milk, bread, water, tea and coffee, ice in the freezer). The lodges are surrounded by well manicured gardens, car park a short walking distance, very safe for the kids; the highlight was the outdoor heated pool, pure bliss.
