The location was beautiful, and the room had just been redone and was extremely comfortable. The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful. They made numerous suggestions about what we could see and helped plan the rest of our trip. The breakfast was great. There were nice sitting areas and even a roaring fire. It was a wonderful place to stay.

Loved every detail of the Willowhill House. It fulfilled my dream of staying in a country home during my first trip to Ireland. Claire and Chris were exceptional, kind and caring hosts. There is a lot of history and charm throughout the comfortable home. The grounds and views were spectacular. The well attended walled garden provided fresh produce and herbs used in the traditional Irish breakfast served daily. Highly recommend this experience.

We loved EVERYTHING - the house has been lovingly restored in keeping with its period. Huge rooms, so tastefully decorated and furnished. The breakfast was superb, grilled not fried bacon, sausages etc. But, you know, Moira and Joe made us feel so at home, we just didn't want to leave.! Ronnie and Armen were excellent hosts! They were super friendly and helpful in planning our visit to Cobh and the surrounding area. They have the most adorable golden doodles, George and Teddy, who are very friendly and cuddly. We were able to pet them and have great conversations with our hosts. Breakfast was amazing, there was nothing wanting and everything was prepared thoughtfully and to our taste; we could have sat in the breakfast room all morning! Parking was very easy. There were plenty of linens and towels for the room (which smelled amazing), and if we needed anything, our hosts were very obliging, asking questions to ensure our comfort. Would stay again and again!
