It was a big surprise that we were actually sleeping in a lodge inside a farm, with many cows as our neighbors! Gwyneth was very caring and always tried her best to help. The room was big, clean and well-equipped. The hidden pantry, disguised as a wardrobe, was another surprise to us. Preparing breakfast on our own with all the provisions was fun.

The house was in a beautiful location. It was really well equipped with regards to cutlery, crockery, glassware, pots and pans etc. It is beautifully decorated and furnished. Unfortunately we didn’t get the weather to spend much time outside, but I’d imagine in the summer it’s the ideal location for outdoor gatherings as there is lots of garden furniture etc. The host was very quick to reply to any questions and queries we had.
One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
The accommodation was really good, the room excellent, overlooking the beautiful gardens and the breakfast was delicious. The setting of the house is lovely, surrounded by well kept luscious gardens. Location very good - close to Kinsale. Parking easy. Hostess very welcoming indeed. We would highly recommend.
