For us it was the perfect location, quiet, close to the sea. Our host Aggeliki made us feel at home, whatever request we had, she did everything possible to please us. The beach near the house is wonderful, we like wild beaches, although we enjoyed spending our mornings with a good coffee and a lemonade at the nearby Akti beach bar where the staff welcomes you every day with a smile on their faces. The location is also ideal for snorkeling, here I saw the largest variety of fish of all the beaches in Greece where I snorkeled. There is also a wild sandy beach 3 km away. If you are looking for a home away from home, but by the sea, we recommend this location.

Great location and a very nice view of a location off the beaten track for international tourists. We had a great time and a wonderful experience thanks to the host and owner of the hotel. We loved everything. The location was spectacular. Ocean in front, mountains behind. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby. It was well furnished, clean, comfortable. We loved hanging out on the balcony, watching the people pass by. We loved hearing the music in the evening, and waking up and cooking breakfast in the morning. There were plenty of little markets to pick up the most delicious fresh fruits and veggies, so we saved money eating at home instead of restaurant food. We traveled with our family after attending our daughters destination wedding in Athens. As a group we rented 3 units, so everyone had privacy, but we were close enough to spend quality time with one another. A special touch was tulle festooning the balcony in celebration of the bride and groom. Waking up in the morning to the magnificent view was lovely-and having umbrellas and chairs set up for us on the beach was above and beyond. Our stay in Tyros was MAGICAL-it was a great spot, not touristy, more like a local beach village, with lots of families just enjoying spending time together. Unfortunately one member of our party took ill at the end of our trip. We were delighted that not only was a pharmacy below our apt. Units, but a medical clinic was just behind our building. We were able to get immediate medical care, which was a godsend. The host was readily available to us for anything we needed, and we are so grateful to her. If you have the chance to book this property, TAKE IT. It was magnificent.

We loved everything about the house and Ilias is a fantastic and kind host. The house itself is beautiful with traditional features and many personal touches that makes it feel like a home. There is a well equipped kitchen if you want to cook your own meals. The panoramic view from the large terrace is spectacular with mountains, sea and Tyros town. We received many great tips from Ilias about where to go for day trips, beaches and restaurants. The fridge was stocked with fresh fruit, vegetables and breakfast essentials when we arrived and Ilias kept spoiling us with produce from his garden throughout our stay. We could not ask for a better host and our stay was amazing. An added bonus was being visited by adorable and friendly cats.
