Stella's House far exceeded my expectations. From the moment we arrived we felt really welcomed. Stathis (who is running the place with Stella) was hospitable and gave us a lot of information about our stay and places to go to. In fact he had prepared a full itinerary with 8 different excursions. The view from the place is amasing, situated on a hill overlooks Aghia Pelagia with breathtaking views of the harbour and the sea. The room was very spacious with a living room, kitchen and bedroom in one large space. A nice veranda facing the sea. Air-conditioning, provided comfort on warm nights but you can also do without. Breakfast was perfect, full of home made cake, bread, marmalade, jam, honey and at least two new dishes every day, one savoury and one sweet. All in all a great place, a great room, great breakfast and most of all great people! I have no hesitation in giving it my highest recommendation. Thank you Stathis and Stella!

very easy - met the host at the port and followed them to the apartment. Host is super friendly and an awesome knowledgebase of where to go and where to eat. Apartment is in a nice quiet area with a great view to agia pelagia beach. Comfy beds, and the room was getting cleaned daily which is just amazing. All windows have mosquite net which come in very usefull and the ac helps on the super hot days. Parking right outside the apartment.Thank you and will definately be back.

Perfect location in the very centre of the island. The flat was clean and had everything we needed to cook, wash our clothes, big fridge/freezer, a/c. Mrs Matina is very friendly, responsive, and always happy to help. She also changes the towels and sheets way more often than a hotel (3 or 4 times in the 10 days we stayed).

Amazing place out of the beaten track. Host was so very nice, he got us food and wine as we didn't have a car. Also gave us a ride to the airport which was convenient.
One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
Potamos is the working capital of Kythira, with a rough and ready charm, and Porphyra fits right in with the feel of the place. Really handy location, a short stroll from the car parking, shops, tavernas, bars and Sunday market. Rooms were cleaned each day, and the owners friendly and helpful.
The host was very friendly. The house was extremely clean and had all necessary amenities. The host provided welcome supplies of water, coffee , breakfast stuff so we settled smoothly. The village and location is very nice allowing you to experience the true atmoshere of the island. Parking was availble. Front and back veranda allows you to enjoy coffee or drink under the morning or evening breeze. 25 minutes form the port.
The Stone house is a beautiful lodging near Potamos village where you can find anything you need like bakery,super market restaurant and many more,our stay was wonderful , Claire was a great host,she was helpful and we have everything we need!you can easily park near the stone house beacause there is parking especialy for the house.Thank you Claire
